The easiest and cheapest way to solve a clogged sink is to use hot or boiling water. Boil water on the stove with a teapot, then pour boiling water into the sink and wait for the results. If it's still clogged, but the hot water back in the sink and let it sit for a while.

Hot water serves to melt the dirt that settles in the sink drain. If you don't want to bother boiling water, just use hot water from a dispenser that is ready to use at any time.

Salt and Hot Water

If hot water doesn't solve the clogging problem, try using salt. Apart from being cheap, this one material is certainly in every home. Hot water and salt will certainly be the perfect combination for a clogged wastafel.

Discard the remaining water in the sink then put about half a glass of table salt in the sink and let it sit for a few minutes. Flush with hot water to remove any existing blockages. Repeat again if the sink is still clogged.

Baking Soda and Salt

Salt and hot water haven't been able to solve a stuck sink drain? Take it easy, there are still other solutions by using baking soda that can be combined with salt to remove drainage blockages.

Mix about a tablespoon of baking soda with half a tablespoon of salt, then pour it into a clogged sink, wait about 3-4 hours. After that, flush with boiling water. Repeat this method until all the blockage is gone.

Water gallon

This one method is efficient enough to overcome clogged sink drainage. Simply pour gallon water into the sink. The large volume of water will put pressure on the sink, which can help clear the clog.

If you don't have a gallon, just use a large bucket to hold the water and pour it over the sink until it overflows then wait for the water to be absorbed and discharged through the drain. For the record, it takes extra effort to use this method.

Plunger

If all the above methods don't work, just use a plunger or toilet vacuum. Do this by closing the drain hole until it is tight with a vacuum, pushing it until there is almost no air anymore, then pulling or pulling out the suction device. If you can hear or see the channel free from clogged, flush with hot water until clean. Repeat the same method until the channel is smooth.

Easy and cheap isn't it. The sink does have to be checked and cleaned periodically so that it is not clogged. Therefore, choose a quality sink that is easy to clean if the drain is clogged. One of them is the sink series products from Germany Brilliant, which are made of quality materials with an official guarantee.
