NO NEED TO USE AROMATHERAPY IN THE BATHROOM IF YOU PAY ATTENTION TO THIS

12 September 2023

The bathroom is a room that is prone to experiencing various strange odors. Starting from a rotten smell, the smell of urine, to the smell of dampness.

If left alone, activities in the bathroom will be uncomfortable and trigger various diseases due to unhealthy air. Guests who visit may think that the bathroom or house is as if it has never been used.

For this reason, you need to clean the bathroom more regularly, thoroughly, and use the right products so that the room smells good and fresh like a spa or beauty clinic. Here are some ways you can try.

1. Clean the bathroom once a week

Cleaning the bathroom regularly, at least once a week, can help prevent unpleasant odors from surfacing. Starting from wiping surfaces such as bathroom floors and walls, cleaning dirty and dusty areas such as the inside of cabinets, as well as scrubbing between toilets, bathtubs or showers, and sinks.

This can make a big difference in the smell of your bathroom. Apart from that, the bathroom equipment also looks cleaner and looks like new.

2. Avoid using cleaning products that are too fragrant

Next, avoid using cleaning products that are too fragrant. Instead of wanting to make your bathroom smell good, that doesn't mean you can use cleaning products with excessive fragrance.

Also avoid using artificially scented cleaning products. Because the fragrance will stick in the room and sting. If mixed with other aromas, it will create a strange smell after some time.

The solution is to use natural cleaning products and fragrances. This will make the room fresher. Most natural products can also create a calming atmosphere so that bathroom activities are relaxing and enjoyable.

3. Add ornamental plants

Another way that can be done is to add ornamental plants to the bathroom. Apart from being aesthetic, ornamental plants also help reduce humidity, improve air quality, and help get rid of unpleasant odors.

However, if you have pets at home, be careful in choosing ornamental plants. Because, there are several ornamental plants that contain poison and are dangerous for pets.

4. Use a laundry basket that has a cover

Bad smells in the bathroom can also come from dirty laundry piling up. So, choose a laundry basket that has a cover so that the smell doesn't escape. Don't let dirty clothes pile up for too long, especially when they are wet.

5. Open the bathroom ventilation

Lastly, the important thing that needs to be done is to diligently open the bathroom ventilation. This is the most effective way to remove unpleasant odors before they settle in the bathroom. If there is no ventilation, use an exhaust fan and open the bathroom door to change air circulation.

Hopefully these tips help, yes!
