STEP BY STEP TO INSTALL A GB SANITARYWARE TOILET

Squatting and sitting toilets are the types of toilets commonly used in Indonesia. Both have their respective advantages and disadvantages. However, the type of toilet that is most often used is the sitting toilet, especially in modern bathrooms.

The advantages of using a sitting toilet are varied. Starting from making the bathroom look more modern and contemporary, easy to clean, and saving money on paying professional services for installation. Yes, when compared to a squat toilet, a sitting toilet is easier to install. In fact, you can do it yourself at home, you know!

However, there is a possibility that the toilet seat that was installed by yourself was not installed correctly. Moreover, if you have no experience and sewerage. There are several problems that may arise if the toilet is installed incorrectly, such as leaks, odors and blockages.

Then, how do you install it? Here are the steps!

  1. If you want to replace an old toilet, the first thing you have to do is turn off the water flow via the tap stop and remove the flexible hose
  2. Clean the rubber seal at the bottom so the toilet can be removed. Use a knife or cutter to clean it
  3. Make sure the distance from the wall to the drain pipe hole on the floor is 50 cm (US distance)
  4. Then, drill a hole in the floor to install the bracket using a drill and place the gasket in the water pipe hole. Then, install the toilet body
  5. Prepare the flush and unlock button at the bottom, then install it on the tank. Don't forget to relock the flush button on the water tank so it doesn't shake
  6. Install the tank gasket, then install it on the toilet body
  7. Lock the water tank on the left and right using the scrub provided
  8. Prepare the tank float, then open the lock at the bottom. Install it on the tank and lock it back
  9. Prepare the flexible hose that is available and make sure there is a rubber seal on the flexible
  10. Attach the end of the flexible hose to the water tank and the other end to the tap stop
  11. Prepare the flush button and attach it to the tank lid and lock it again. At this stage, you can adjust the scrub on the flush button so you can press deeper
  12. Next is to install the toilet lid. You have to unscrew the bolts and rubber provided. Then, install the rubber on the toilet body and make sure the toilet lid slot is straight, then install the bolts provided.
  13. Install the toilet lid
  14. Don't forget to use seal glue on the bottom of the toilet body so that the toilet doesn't shake when used and prevents water seepage.
