GETTING TO KNOW THE SENSOR FAUCET GBVC03 SERIES FROM GB SANITARYWARE

14 September 2023

Even though the coronavirus pandemic is over, a clean and healthy lifestyle is still being implemented by several groups. One way is to use a sensor faucet to wash your hands. As the name suggests, this faucet will automatically release water when our palm is placed on the front of the sensor and turns off again after use.

Sensor taps are the right solution because you don't need to touch the tap lever to turn the water on and off. This can certainly reduce viral and bacterial contamination.

To support PHBS, Germany Brilliant (GB) Sanitaryware always develops its products. One of them is the sensor faucet which is always being upgraded and perfected.

Did you know that even though they are generally used on sinks, apparently there are also special models used on kitchen sinks, you know! Interesting right?

Faucet GB Sanitaryware GBVC03 series is an automatic sensor faucet made from brass and coated with thick chrome. Even though the function is automatic, this water tap can be used in manual mode if the power goes out at any time.

For use, the GBVC03 series uses electrical power by plugging it into a socket. However, if there is a power failure, this sensor faucet can still be used with 4 AA batteries or manually, by turning the handle on the head of the faucet.

There are several models of this sensor faucet, namely:

  • Short sensor faucet → generally used for sinks that are flush with the counter
  • High sensor faucet → generally used for countertop sinks
  • Wall sensor tap

When choosing a sensor faucet, there are several things to pay attention to. Starting from installing a socket near the sink if you want to use electricity, choose the model or height of the tap that suits the sink being used, and must be equipped with a guarantee.
