Unfortunately, not everyone knows how to clean the kitchen properly. In fact, there are those who clean the kitchen carelessly without paying attention to the risks, the important thing is that the kitchen looks clean. That is right?

These mistakes can make the kitchen a nest for germs and bacteria and create unpleasant odors. So, what are the common mistakes made when cleaning the kitchen?

1. Mix various cleaning solutions

GB friends might think that if you mix two cleaning solutions the results will be very optimal, aka shiny clean! In fact, mixing the two chemicals will have undesirable negative impacts. The solution could smoke or actually damage the material.

2. Letting small dirt stick

The thing that is most often done in the kitchen is to leave small dirt stuck all day. Maybe you think that because the dirt isn't too big, it won't be a bother and can be cleaned at another time.

In fact, leaving it alone will cause dirt to accumulate and become a nest for germs, you know. Apart from that, if it sticks too long, it will take extra time to clean it.

3. Using a dishwashing sponge repeatedly

You may think this is normal, but dishwashing sponges can also be a breeding ground for bacteria and germs. Moreover, if it is used in various places and not washed thoroughly. To avoid this, it is best to replace the sponge at least once a week and wash it thoroughly after use.

4. Using the same cloth for various purposes

Washcloths are resistant to dirt, and can be washed and reused. It is not uncommon for kitchen clothes to be used for various purposes or areas, such as for cleaning kitchens, tables, sinks, taps, and even stoves. In fact, repeated use of wipes can spread germs and bacteria.

For this reason, use different types of wipes for different purposes and store them separately. Just like sponges, kitchen towels also need to be replaced regularly so they don't become a breeding ground for bacteria and germs.
