Sitting Toilet Problems That Should Not Be Underestimated

05 December 2023

The toilet is an essential sanitary equipment in the bathroom. This tool functions as a place to dispose of small and large water.

It's just that the toilet is a bathroom fixture that is increasingly experiencing a number of problems. These include clogged, leaking, smelly, and even the toilet exploding. This of course will hinder activities in the bathroom, right?

Therefore, this problem should not be underestimated and must be treated immediately to prevent more serious problems. So, what problems can arise in the toilet and should not be ignored? The following is the explanation.

  1. The toilet water continues to flow
Have you ever seen toilet flush water continuously flowing? Yes, this is one of the most common problems with sitting toilets. This is because the flush button does not return to its perfect position.

Therefore, you need to pay attention to the position of the flush button after pressing it. Wait a few moments and see whether the water has stopped or continues to flow.

  2. The toilet vibrates
A toilet that is not securely attached to the floor can cause serious problems, namely vibration. This includes the toilet seat problem which should not be ignored. Because, every movement of the toilet will damage the sealant used to glue the toilet. In the end, it will actually cause leaks and require quite major repairs.

  3. The toilet seat cover is cracked
Installing a seat cover on a sitting toilet can actually be done easily. Install the seat cover in its place and tighten the nuts or adhesive used.

On the other hand, removing the seat cover when you want to clean it can sometimes be frustrating, especially if it is rusty. Often, the bolts used are glued together making them difficult to open. In the end, we often hold the seat to remove the bolt and end up cracking it.

  4. Toilet water does not flow smoothly
If the toilet water does not flow smoothly, it is possible that the flushing hole is blocked by mineral deposits. To overcome this problem with the toilet seat, you can use tools that can clean blocked holes. Or, you can contact customer service at the place where you bought the toilet seat.
