THE TYPES OF WATER FAUCETS THAT YOU MUST KNOW

When designing a building, such as housing, hospitals, offices, schools or shopping centers, an important element that needs to be considered carefully is the quality of the water taps used. The water tap is an important component used to regulate water flow. It could be said that this sanitation equipment is quite important to support daily life, for example providing a water supply for routine activities.

Maybe what is visible to the naked eye is that the model or shape of the water tap is just the same. In fact, there are many types of water taps according to their respective functions.

1. Garden faucet

2. Kitchen faucet

3. Bathroom faucet

4. Sink faucet

There are various models and types of water taps used for sinks. In recent times, sensor faucets have been widely used as sink faucets. The use of sensor faucets has been proven to help save water and reduce the risk of cross-contamination of bacteria.

TYPES OF WATER FAUCETS BASED ON MODEL

1. Branch faucet

Branch water taps are designed to provide and channel water sources at two points at once. These faucets are usually found in public places, such as offices, schools and shopping centers. However, many branch taps are also used in bathrooms in residential buildings. Usually, this branch faucet is used to collect water and use the shower simultaneously.

2. Faucet stop

Besides opening and closing the water flow, the faucet stop also functions as a water pressure regulator. This type of faucet consists of single and double, depending on the needs of each house. Faucet stops are generally installed near bathroom equipment that requires water flow, such as toilets, sinks, or kitchen sinks in the kitchen. In fact, currently there are stop taps that are used to open and close quite large flows, you know, for example on water pumps or towers. Do you know yet?

TYPES OF WATER FAUCETS BASED ON FUNCTION

1. Cold water faucet

This type of faucet can only produce one type of water flow, namely cold water flow. Typically, cold water taps are used on sink faucets, kitchen faucets, or faucet spouts. To use this water faucet, you only need to turn the lever to the right to drain the water.

2. Hot and cold water faucet (mixer)

This water faucet is inversely proportional to the previous type of water faucet. This hot and cold water tap can produce two types of water flow, namely hot and cold water flow. To use this water tap, simply move the tap lever to the right or left. In fact, the standardization has been determined, namely shifting the lever to the left to drain hot water and sliding to the right to drain cold water. Or through symbols, hot water is marked in red and cold is marked in blue, while the flow of water with a normal temperature is in the middle.
