Miftahan Khoiron, project architect from Cubic Architects, explained that current tropical-style houses are not necessarily ideal. That is if the position of the main room is not on the second floor of the house. Moreover, if it is not equipped with a bathroom in it. "The main room must be full at the front on the second floor, the room functions as a 'canopy' for the house," said Miftah, Miftahan Khoiron's greeting, while talking to Brilli, GB Sanitaryware's bathroom ambassador.

Of course, for Miftah and most of the residential architects, the choice of position has rules, it cannot be arbitrary. For example, if the owner of the house is a Muslim, the toilet must not face west. "As much as possible, the bathroom should also have its back to the bed," he explained.
Experience in the field, such fengsui is often not compatible with air circulation. If that's the case, then all you have to do is put the boven in the toilet. So that natural air can still enter. According to Miftah, installing an exhaust fan in the bathroom does not answer the problem. "Exhaust is not a solution, only assistance," he added.
Meanwhile, to beautify the bathroom in a tropical house, Miftah suggests using sanitary furniture, such as sinks, closets and showers, in white or gold and luxury shades. Likewise with the walls and floor of the bathroom. "The bathroom in the main room must be complete, even if it is necessary to give a bathtub to maximize the comfort of the toilet in the main room," he concluded.
Then what about a one-story tropical house? According to Miftah, the placement of the new room positions can be determined after conducting an analysis. For example, if the land area is 100 square meters, then on the right and left and behind there are tall houses, then the position of the main bedroom is not recommended to be close to the living room. "The main room is at the front, its position is more front than the living room," he explained.
Then, the outskirts of house buildings, especially those directly adjacent to neighboring houses, must have space for a garden. So that air circulation is not disturbed, and keeps the main room shady. This natural air is also important to maintain the air conditioning of the bathroom which is one with the main bedroom. "If there is no air circulation, the bathroom must be damp," he explained.
