Urinal is one of the bathroom equipment that must be cleaned regularly. Even though it doesn't come into direct contact with the skin like a toilet, the remnants of urine that stick to it can form part of the wall urinal and become smelly and yellow.
These sanitary products are generally used in public toilets and commercial buildings, such as malls, offices, campuses or schools, and restaurants. However, many modern-style dwellings are now using this sanitary product in the home bathroom!
However, the method for cleaning sanitary equipment is not always the same, depending on the type of material and how it is used. Cleaning the urinal is not the same as cleaning a closet or sink which also uses ceramic material in general. Then, how to clean the urinal?
Tools and Materials Needed
Apron
Gloves
Hair ties for women
Bathroom brush / used toothbrush
Dry cloth 2 sheets
Carbol / ceramic cleaning fluid
Disinfectant
How to Clean
First, put on an apron and tie your hair so that you splash water while cleaning the urinal.
Then, rinse the urinal with a flush or running water to clean the remaining dirt on the wall urinal. If using a sensor flush, turn off the sensor or automatic flush system immediately.
Pour carbolic acid or cleaning fluid evenly over the entire surface urinal, then wait a few moments.
While waiting, dip or wet 1 sheet of dry cloth to clean the urinal. As much as possible use a new cloth so that other dirt doesn't stick to the urinal.
Rub the outer and inner urinals using a bathroom brush.
Use an old toothbrush to scrub in between urinals, including the water filter hole in the middle.
If there are still stains that don't lift, rub them using a damp cloth. Add carbolic acid or cleaning fluid to the stain.
Rinse the urinal again using clean water, make sure there is no soap still attached.
Dry the inside outurinal using a dry cloth.
Spray the entire surface urinal, use enough disinfectant, and wipe using a dry cloth so that it doesn't leave traces of solution stains.
For maximum results, do this method at least twice a week and the urinal stays clean and durable.
