In a few moments, muslims around the world will enter the holy month of Ramadan. So, the mosque will become the most frequently visited place. To increase the comfort of the congregation when praying, GB Sanitaryware renovated the ablution area at the Insan Kamil Mosque, Bekasi City, West Java, on Monday (26/2).
This activity is one form Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) GB Sanitaryware. In fact, GB Sanitaryware Corporate Communications, Sheilla Fitria, revealed that this will be the company's routine agenda this year in order to increase comfort in places of worship.
"This will be our regular agenda this year, not just at mosques, but at other places of worship too," said Sheilla.
Furthermore, before renovating the Insan Kamil Mosque, GB Sanitaryware had conducted a survey first to determine the needs of the mosque ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
For your information, the mosque which stands on the land of the BUMN Pratama Building Deed (ABP) company was built in 2012 and started to be used in 2014 until now. So, for approximately 10 years it has been one of the large mosques in the city of Bekasi, West Java.

The form of assistance provided to the Insan Kamil Mosque was replacing the ablution taps in the men's and women's areas. GB Sanitaryware certainly provides the best and highest quality water taps, and can be used for a long period of time.
"So, we decided to renovate the ablution area at the Insan Kamil Mosque so that people can pray comfortably. Previously, we had also conducted a survey first to find out what was needed, and what was urgent was the ablution faucet," explained Sheila.
The handover of aid was carried out symbolically by Sheilla and several of the GB Sanitaryware team who accompanied them, and was well received by the representative of the Mosque Prosperity Council, Ustadz Yasin.

Ustadz Yasin, said that the assistance provided by GB Sanitaryware will help smooth ablutions for people who worship at the Insan Kamil Mosque, especially as the month of Ramadan is approaching.
"What we prioritize is providing comfort for the congregation, both in the mosque and especially the ablution area which we must prioritize," said Ustadz Yasin.
"It's a coincidence that Ramadhan is just around the corner, the ablution taps are also damaged and leaking. After replacing this, hopefully it can improve the comfort of the people," he added.
GB Sanitaryware’s team also cleaned the walls of the ablution area which were stained with leaking water taps so that they looked clean and comfortable to look at.

"Apart from replacing the water taps, we also cleaned up spots of dripping water or tap leaks that were stuck to the walls, some of them had turned yellow so we cleaned them with our special liquid," added Sheila.
Previously, GB Sanitaryware also provided assistance to orphanages, homes for people with mental disorders, nursing homes, as well as renovations to the Al-Barkah Babelan Mosque and the Al-Ikhlas Mosque on Pari Island, Seribu Islands.
